As Salam Wale Kum,

 

I agree with Akhtar Bhai that at present no one this planet earth are that intelligent and scholar who has the right to say that he knows everything of Islam.

 

Islam is very vast and the understanding which Sahabahs had with Rasool Allah (SAW) related to Quran or Islam was the purest one.

 

After that it was mouth to mouth and it is creating more doubt as the time move on.

 

I have seen debate of Dr.Deedat Ahmed. (Muslim v/s Christians), i was impressed the way Al-Quran was put forward by him in a positive manner for the benefit of Islam. (You can watch it on Youtube.com search by deedat ahmed debate)

 

But many a times the other scholars either misintercept or misunderstand the Holy Book.

 

Kash main us waqt is duniya mein  paida hota jab is zameen par Rasol Allah (SAW) ka daur tha to yeh galat aur sahi ki musibat se mujhe nijaat mil jaati.

 

But its Allah Taa'la and His Rasool (SAW) knows best, they will definetly will judge by my intention and not my action towards islam.

Brother Yusuf, Jhangir is no scholar. He is a copy/paste artist infringing on copyright material from a website created in 2010 which is owned by a "Joseph A. Islam". Wonder who he or they are. The site specifically states that:

You may freely copy, download (each article has a downloadable PDF) and distribute the articles provided they are in a complete form (not edited) and the following source information is provided:

As the name indicates, this is a site created by someone who does not wish to disclose his/their identity.

The first hadith he has quoted is correct, but 'visiting' does not mean having sexual intercourse, unless the reader's mind is perverted. Even visiting 11 houses is a feat. The supposed contradiction is solely due to the perverted thinking.

These people bring up such ahadith to dispute the validity of ahadith that have been validated by scholars throughout the 1200 years that they have been in existence. When you ask them questions on how they perform essential acts that are prescribed in the Qur'an, they are lost as it was Rasool Allah (sallallaho alaihe wasallam) who performed them and ordered us to follow him. Examples are salat and zaka't.

It is one of the core beliefs of entire Muslim Ummah that, authentic hadeeths are the second source of Islamic Jurisprudence.  It doesn't get affected and could never be get affected, if someone of a certain splinter group believes otherwise.

And most definitely Br. Jahangeer is one of them.

Everyone should respect the idea that everyone has the right to have his own opinion on certain issue / matter.

When it comes to debate on certain issue, it should be done between equally qualified and equally potential people of that field.  And if the debate is on any religious matter or ideology, it's importance becomes more imperative.

May be Br. Jahangeer is a scholar of his kind as far as his group (Ahl Al-Qur'an, I guess) is concerned.  But I doubt, any other member of this yahoo group is a scholar in any discipline of Islamic Sciences.  Myself - I am also not a scholar.

Most definitely Br. Jahangeer is posting his writings in this Yahoo Group, because, as it appears, he is most worried about Muslim Ummah, which is (in his opinion) unknowingly or unnecessarily considering Authentic hadeeths to be the second source of Islamic Law, and following thus.

Considering the fact that no other member of this Yahoo group is a scholar of his (Br. Jahangeer's) caliber and knowledge, my sincere request to Br. Jahangeer is, it would be more fair on his part, if he could also research, collect and post the opinions of scholars right from the generation of Sahaba, Tabaeen and the rest on such issue/matter, which he is going to post.  There is abundance of literature in Arabic and scholastic discussions ran in the form of letters among scholars, in the form of Question & Answer among the students and their teachers, who were eminent scholars of their times.

If he couldn't find certain information in certain generation or period, he can skip to other one and search for it.

If he post his writings, along with the opinions of other scholars in this way, and leave it to the readers, to read it, understand it, and choose from among them that which is more authentic, and to follow it; then it would be a more fair thing to be appreciated.

If he doesn't do it, then it is clear that, like political leaders, he is trying to inject his own opinions into the minds of common people (as far as the religious (Islamic) knowledge is concerned, I guess we, the members of this group, are all just similar to common people).  And it would be most dangerous one, since it can negatively affect the belief of the members.

And if he just opts to continue with his own style of posting his writings, slandering the great scholars of the past, deliberately ascribing malicious intentions to them, degrading their honor - I believe the members of this group are not that fools, who cannot understand what Br. Jahangeer is all about, what his ultimate intentions are and what his ultimate plot is; and not that fools to fall into his trap.

Anyways, the only benefit that the members of this group can have is that they can understand how some people can interpret things to prove their point, and how they can play with the beliefs of common people.

My dear brothers, and sisters of this group, please don't let the writings and opinions of Br. Jahangeer or others like him affect the core Islamic Beliefs that you already posses, unless you are provided with different arguments and opinions of other scholars and complete information about the issue under writing, with their proper proofs.  And then only let your belief take it's shape upon reading such complete information.

May Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala protect us all from all forms of corruption and corruptive ideas that are being injected into our minds under the cover of scholastic arguments (aameen).

BUKHARI HADITH:  Volume 1, Book 5, Number 268:

 

Narrated Qatada: 

Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa'id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven).  

This is possibly an attempt to reconcile some of the difficult narratives found in Islamic secondary source literature. However the above narrative further stands in clear contradiction with the Quran verses which make it clear that the Prophet's nights were usually spent worshipping Allah. So much so, that Allah Himself advised the Prophet to regulate his worship.

"Indeed, your Lord knows that you (Muhammad Saw) stand in prayer nearly two-thirds of the night, and (sometimes) half of it, and (sometimes) a third of it, and (also) a party of those with you; and God measures the night and the day. He knows that you do not count it, so He has turned to you (in mercy), therefore recite what is easy of the Quran. He knows that there will be sick among you and others who travel in the land seeking of the bounty of God, and others who are fighting in God's cause. So recite of it that which is easy (for you), and establish worship and pay the poor-due, and (so) lend to God a goodly loan. Whatsoever good you send before you for your souls, you will find it with God, better and greater in the recompense. And seek forgiveness of God. Lo! God is Forgiving, Merciful" 

 

 

However, it appears that the above Hadith narratives serve no other purpose but to malign the beautiful character of the Prophet. It further suggests that the Prophet himself was often an exception to his own teachings. This is a wholly unacceptable assertion given the clear verses of the Quran.
