Entire Quran talks about Muslim it does not talk about any Sunni or Sunnatul Jamat Muslim.
Lets check whether if there is no prefix or Suffix to the word Muslim in quran.
3:95 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim (For the similar verses refer 6:161, 4:125 2: 135)
2:130. And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim except he who has engaged himself in foolishness.
3:67. Ma kana ibraheemu yahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakin kana haneefan musliman wama kana mina almushrikeena
3: 67. Ibrahimim was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa.
Based on the above verses one should be proud to announce as a Muslim but not as a Sunni Muslim. Ibrahim(A.s) was a Muslim. Muhammad (Saw) followed his religion he was a Muslim, Prophet, Rasool to the mankind.

72: 14. 'And of us some are Muslims

27:91 91. I (Muhammad SAW) have been commanded only to worship the Lord of this city (Makkah), Him Who has sanctified it and His is everything. And I am commanded to be from among the Muslims (those who submit to Allâh in Islâm).

27:31. "Be you not exalted against me, but come to me as Muslims |
6:163. La shareeka lahu wabithalika omirtu waana awwalu almuslimeena
6:163. "He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims."
46:15 ..............I am one of the Muslims
10:72.........and I have been commanded to be one of the Muslims
68: 35. AfanajAAalu almuslimeena kaalmujrimeena
68:35. Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun
5:111. And when I put in the hearts of Al-Hawarieen to believe in Me and My Messenger, they said: "We believe. And bear witness that we are Muslims."
3:52 Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: "We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allâh, and bear witness that we are Muslims
3:64 "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
7:126 Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims."
22:78.... it is the religion of your father Ibrahim. It is He (Allâh) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (Qur'ân), that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind!
41:33. Waman ahsanu qawlan mimman daAAa ila Allahi waAAamila salihan waqala innanee mina almuslimeena
41:33 ......................."I am one of the Muslims."
43: 69. Allatheena amanoo bi-ayatina wakanoo muslimeena
43:69. (You) who believed in Our Ayât (proofs, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and were Muslims
11:14 ............Will you then be Muslims
10:84. Waqala moosa ya qawmi in kuntum amantum biAllahi faAAalayhi tawakkaloo in kuntum muslimeena
10:84. And Musa (Moses) said: "O my people! If you have believed in Allâh, then put your trust in Him if you are Muslims
10:90 He," in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims
12:101 in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim
51: 36. Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena
51: 36. But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one
39:12. Waomirtu li-an akoona awwala almuslimeena
