«*» RUKHSANA«*» Hadiith ash-shariif of the Day (16-06-2011)

 

Bismi'llaahi 'r-rahmaani 'r-rahiim

 

Assalaatu was'salaamu alaika Yaa Rasoollullaah! Yaa Habeeb'Allaah!

 

Hadrath Jabir bin Abdullaah {radiy'Allaahu ta'aalaa anhu} reported that I was with The Holy Prophet {sall'Allaahu ta'aalaa alaihi wa'sallam} and the time for the Asar prayer became due. We had no water with us except a little which was put in a vessel and was brought to the The Holy Prophet {sall'Allaahu ta'aalaa alaihi wa'sallam}.  He {sall'Allaahu ta'aalaa alaihi wa'sallam} put His hand into it and spread out his fingers and then said, "Come along! Hurry up! All those who want to perform ablution.  The blessing is from Allaah."  I saw the water gushing out from his fingers. So the people performed the ablution and drank, and I tried to drink more of that water {beyond my thirst and capacity}, for I knew that it was a blessing.  The sub-narrator said: I asked Hadrath Jabir {radiy'Allaahu ta'aalaa anhu}, "How many persons were you then?" He replied, "We were one-thousand four hundred men." Hadrath Salim {radiy'Allaahu ta'aalaa anhu} said: Hadrath Jabir {radiy'Allaahu ta'aalaa anhu} said, one-thousand five hundred men.  {Bukharii Shariif – Volume 7, Book 69, Number 543}

«*» RUKHSANA«*» Hadith: 3 baatein jin sey Imaan ki Mithas milti hai

 

 

Urdu Translation:
Anas radi allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasoollallah Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam ne farmaya 3 khaslatein (aadatein) aisee hai ki jismein ye paida ho jaye usney Imaaan ki mithas ko pa liya, awwal ye ki Allah aur uska Rasool uskey nazdeek sabse ziyada mehboob ban jaye dusrey ye ki wo kisi insaan se sirf Alllah ki Raza ke liye Muhabbat rakhey, teesrey ye ki wo Kufr mein wapas lautney ko aisa bura jaaney jaisa ki Aag mein daley jaaney ko bura janta hai Sahih Bukhari, 16

English Translation:
Narrated Anas Radi Allahu Anhu The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith: 1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else 2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake. 3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire. Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, No. 16
