Pack Luggage
24 Hours In Advance
I always pack my luggage over
twenty-four hours in advance when
I am taking a trip. I pack everything
that I need in the bags. Then I take
out the necessary cosmetics,
medication, toothbrush, etc. from
the bags that I need during the day
and night. This way if you have
forgotten anything, it is pretty easy
to rectify. It is easier to put things
into the bags at home than to buy
them while you are traveling (and cheaper).

Attach Photo To Shoe Box
I'll admit it, I'm a shoe collector!
What is the proper way to store shoes
without paying for expensive storage
organizers? Nobody has time to dust
shoes on a shelf. I opted for keeping
them in the original box, then take a
picture of the shoes. It is easy to use
a printer to create any size photo you
want, then place the photo on the
outside end of each box.

Right away, you can see which pair

Clear plastic containers can get very
expensive along with the fact if you
live in any humid area, they aren't
good for the leather. My daughter
and her girls do the same thing.

Save Old Baby Food
Jars and Lids
Baby food jars have many uses.
I saved the ones I used from my son
and have used them for a variety of
things. I made his food, so I would
make little "to go" meals for him
and put them in the freezer for
when we traveled. I've also used
them for storing pins, buttons,
thumb tacks, paper clips, beads,
and other small do-dads.
But by far, the best use I've found
for them yet is to use them for
freezer jam! They are the perfect
size for gift giving and don't take
up too much room in the freezer.
In true frugal style, I ask for the jar
back, ostensibly so I can refill it
and give it to the giftee again
with a new flavor of jam!

Removing Blood Stains
Use household ammonia (full strength)
to remove blood stains from clothing.
Try to catch the stain as quickly as
possible, and launder right away in
cold water. Stain will disappear.

Saving Cards With Addresses
My father passed away recently and
we were getting cards from all over
and from people that my brother and
I weren't familar with. Instead of trying
to keep envelope with the card, I just
tore off the return address and taped
it to the back of the card.
When I'm sending acknowledgements
and thank you notes, I know exactly
who and where to send it to. It gives
me a bit of inspiration when writing
the note because i have the card right
with the address. Much later, when
looking through the cards, I'll also
have an idea of who the card came
from instead of trying to figure out
who 'Jean" is.

Suzie Peanut is a 1 year old Schnoodle.
Suzie Peanut is a rescue dog from
California. She is actually my rescue
dog, helping me to get over the loss
of my fiance who died 4 months ago.
She is a very loving dog, and I am
thrilled that she is in my life. She
loves to visit the dog park, bark at
strangers, sit on my lap and watch
movies, and go for bicycle rides.
She is in training to learn how to
ride on the back of my Vespa.
