"There are no limits when you trust yourself." Think about the most self-confident people you know. What is it that makes them that way? Self-confident people don't second-guess their capacity to succeed, nor do they wait for others to encourage them. They trust their own abilities to do what needs to be done. Stop waiting for others to tell you what you can do. Start putting your faith in your own strengths and talents. Instead of questioning whether you can reach your goals, move forward with conviction and confidence. You have incredible gifts. If you allow yourself to follow them, you'll achieve great things. Go ahead. Follow your abilities. They will lead you upward on a path that is has no limits! ©Jane Powell Ignore other people's negativity If you allow people to make more withdrawals than deposits in your life, you will be out of balance and in the negative before you know it. Ignore unconstructive, hurtful commentary. No one has the right to judge you. They may have heard your stories, but they didn't feel what you were going through. You do not have control over what others say; but you do have control over whether or not you allow them to say these things to you. You alone can deny their poisonous words from invading your heart and mind. Small achievements Small achievements pave the way for big achievements. Because when you know you've done it before, you're confident you can do it again and again. Small achievements, focused in a consistent direction, are what the big achievements are made of. And every moment is an opportunity for a small achievement. You can't create a great fortune in one day. Yet you can make significant positive progress toward building that fortune, each and every day. Add value to every moment, and that value will add up. Whatever your desire, whatever your dream, there are always steps you can take right here and now. When you take those steps, you are fulfilling the desire. When you make those small achievements, you are living the dream. Fill your moments with small achievements. And you'll fill your life with great and lasting value. Ralph Marston |
