Open Culture One of my favorite things to find on the web is a great educational site. Open Culture is exactly that! They collect an assortment of free educational media and courses from all around the web and present it to you blog style. So Navigation is easy because you can just scroll down the page, but if you are looking for something specific you can use the navigation strip at the top of the page with the categories: Audio Books, Online Courses, Movies, Language Lessons, eBooks, and Cultural Icons. There are also categories listed to the right of the blog posts. They are Essentials, Free Courses, Archive, and Categories. There is also a search field at the top of the page that you can use if you are looking for something specific and it isn't covered in any of the previous places. I found the site through the Language Lessons sections; I'm trying to brush up my French so that I'll be better prepared to take it in my course load. I am so glad I did! I have been back every day since checking for new offerings or prowling through the archives. There are so many educational goodies here! During one of my recent visits the post that greeted me was C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia being provided for free as a series of audio books! That is so awesome! And just one of the many great examples of things you'll find on this site. Check out and bookmark this site today!
