«*» RUKHSANA«*» King of Bhutan married to a commoner

 

The wedding ceremony was held according to ancient Buddhist traditions in the most sacred to Bhutanese monastery fortress of the country. Jigme Khesar Namgyal King Wangchuck, with a crown on his head, came down from his golden throne, in front of a huge statue of Buddha, to put it to his bride, Jetsun Pema, a crown of silk brocade. Monks praised the girl in the song, when she took her place beside him as the new queen of the country. Wedding fascinated people, who eagerly waited for their 31-year-old bachelor marries King. The children wrote poems, flight attendants were practicing holiday dance, and posters were hung a pair of almost everywhere.
