Mere chehare pe gazal likhati Hain

Sher kahati hui aankhen us ki

 

Shokh lamhon ka pata dene

Tez hoti hui saansen us ki

 

Aise mausam bhi guzaare ham ne

Subahen jab apani thi shaamen us ki

 

Dhyaan men us ke ye aalam tha kabhi

Aankh mahataab ki yaaden us ki

 

Faisalaa mauj-e-havaa ne likkhaa

Aandhiyaan meri bahaaren us ki

 

Niind is soch se tuuti aksar

Kis tarah katati hain raaten us ki
