In the past one year, through the different Positive Thoughts a lot of knowledge about the soul has been given.
A Human Being is; a Human + a Being;
A Human body made up of the five elements + the Being, the soul.
'I' and 'my' or 'mine' signify two separate entities. 'I' means the soul, and mine is the body wherein the soul resides. When you sit in a room, you would not say: "I am the room." Similarly, 'you' are not the body; your body is your cottage. A driver seated in his car drives the car, but is himself separate from it. In the same manner the soul is the driver in charge of the body which serves as a carriage. The soul hears by means of the ears, speaks through the mouth and sees with the eyes. Therefore, you are a 'soul' and not a 'body'.

Cooling Thoughts
When there is a fire, the most urgent thing to do is to try to put the flames out, and not worry about how the fire started. In the same way, when someone's angry, instead of adding fuel to the fire and making things worse or heating up and getting angry yourself - put out the fire. Become cool and create 'cooling thoughts.' 'Cool' the other person down by sending them good vibrations and good feelings
The Best Gift
When there is the thought to do something unselfish for someone every
day, there is the ability to give happiness unconditionally. Whatever
the relationship or whatever the personality of the other person, the
one who develops the habit of doing this, is able to remain a source of
support for those around. The best gift we can give is to give
happiness to finish sorrow. When we are constantly thinking of this,
not for any reward but just for the sake of it, we are able to discover
and enjoy the fruit of that action. We become free from expectations
and are able to enjoy the action itself.
The Origin of Addictions And Overcoming Them (cont.)
In order to change an addiction, we need to work out what need lies behind this addiction. What is the spiritual desire that we are trying to satisfy?
If we smoke for relaxation (by smoking we breathe deeply and this relaxes us), perhaps what we really need is peace of mind. Any doctor will tell you that mental peace cannot be found in a cigarette. On the contrary, instead of calming your stress, it makes you more irritable and nervous, especially when going through withdrawal symptoms. We can learn to find relaxation and peace through meditation and will not have the need to smoke.
The same applies to all the other qualities that we need to experience in our lives so that we feel satisfied and happy: it is in our inner self where we can turn to discover what we need. Although our mind often asks for visible and material things, its needs are deeper and nothing superficial can satisfy it. Meditation leads us to what is genuine and eternal
