Pharaoh Nefertiti 3400 years old:
Nefertiti, whose name means "the beautiful one has come," was the queen of Egypt and wife of Pharaoh Akhenaton during the 14th century B.C. She and her husband established the cult of Aden, the sun god, and promoted Egyptian artwork that was radically different from its predecessors. A bust of Nefertiti is one of the most iconic symbols of Egypt. German archaeologists cheated Egyptian customs officers in order to smuggle the 3,400-year-old bust of Queen Nefertiti to Berlin, according to a secret document unearthed in archives….
The document is sure to stoke the row between German and Egypt over the removal of antiquities at the beginning of the 20th century.
