«*» RUKHSANA«*» Peace

 

Peace museums, symposiums, Peace Corps and quotes,
Peace movements, improvements, Peace trains and Peace zones;
We live in a world filled with Peace's galore,
Yet His children yearn for its glimpse even more.

Peace symbols and sculptures, trade as banal produce
In many misdirections beckon Peace in profuse;
'Planetary Non-Violence' is liberally preached,
As reckless ignorance exalts to its peak.

Unobserved reactions lead to desperate despair,
As sickly senile we search Peace in the air;
With fraudulent feelings we oft' masquerade,
And Patrons of Peace! Yes, for Peace we crusade!

Their position and place as we estimate,
Shrewdly sharp we silently segregate;
With Counterfeit Compassion we Swindle the Self,
As we dig and drill depths of our own hell.

Clinging to what was, Resisting the now
We blame and complain, What? Why? Oh but How?
Collective dysfunction stifles and shrouds,
The Peace within that we look for in crowds.

Peace! Whose job is it? Yours, mine or His?
What Hardens it to Accept all as is?
Stiff chains of the Ego crush and restraint,
The urge to introspect and with self to acquaint.

For if you did, you would then know
That you search all over, you're fit to bestow;
Underneath the veil of the mold and the clay,
Peace lies in piles, one decision away.

The onus lies with you, 'Dear Soul',
With power to pledge peace in your own home;
Ignite your own light and lend your two cents
With eyes on the self, learn to serve your descent.

As the warble of psalms and songs here delight,
Let with sweet communion now each heart light
The day, like Shimmering Beacons of Peace
That Echo with Love beyond mortal reach.

A Gathering of Stars we see here unite
Mystic Incantations and silence recite
A Lasting Legend of Love that breathes,
Past bounds of Time and Space and Speech.

Let's cite our Saga beyond the Somatic Realm,
As we amass again with One at the Helm;
And as we Parley the Pieces of Peace,
Let's just hold pure feelings and love for each.

For that's the seed from which Peace springs..
Good wishes, pure feelings, with tranquil they ring;
Acceptance of all with a generous heart,
Regard for each as they play their part!
