Bismillah-Hirrahman-Nirrahim 

Aayesha radi allahu anha se rivayat hai ki unhoney farmaya Rasoollallah Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam yahan tak rozey rakhtey they ki hum kahtey they ki Ab iftaar nahi karengey aur iftaar yahan tak kartey they ki hum kahtey they ab roza na rakhnegey aur mainey purey mahiney ke rozey rahtey hute unhey kabhi nahi dekha siwa Ramadhan ke aur kisi mahiney mein Shaban se ziyada Rozey rakhtey nahi dekha 

Sahih Muslim , Vol3, 2721

English Translation : 

A'isha Radi allahu anha , the Mother of the Believers (Allah be pleased with her), reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to observe fasts (so conti- nuously) that we said that he would not break, and did not observe (them) till we said that he would not fast: and I did not see the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) completing the fast of a month, but that of Ramadan, and I did not see him fasting more in any other month than that of Sha'ban.
