Nature is always new and fresh, every moment of its existence. It is changing every moment. If, at all anything is constant in nature, it is change. The flowing water in the river is not the same, it is new every moment. Fundamentally, change denotes the transition to something new. For example, water in the liquid state is not the same as water in the frozen state. At some point, it experienced a transition and became different. Thus, it changed. Water in the liquid state is not the same as water in the gaseous state. At some point, it changes from liquid to gas or steam. Change is the law of nature and change is inevitable. There is physical change and mental change. We have to understand this changing nature of nature and mind and make use of both nature and mind for the common good of the people of the world. If we want change, newness needs to be brought into our life. Attitudes to change may fall into one of the following two categories: 1.Change is random; and 2.Change is cyclical, and one expects circumstances to recur. The latter concept is often seen as related to all religious traditions.Change may require organisms to adapt. Change also may require organizations to adapt. Changes in society may take place either slowly, through gradual modifications in mindsets and beliefs, or suddenly, through revolutions.Societies continuously acquire predictive knowledge to avoid the impact of catastrophic changes. Research is one of the tools for anticipating impending changes and adapting to the inevitable, new conditions.Changes can be made in constitutions and laws to bring about change gradually.Societies that do not follow this path have changes thrust upon them by forces beyond their control.Newness has to be adopted by all to bring about change in society. Even one person or a group of people who adopt newness can be instrumental in bringing newness and hence change in society for better living conditions.
'I am a non-physical soul and not physical body. I am immortal and my body is mortal. Nature is eternal.Souls are eternal. God is eternal. I am a child of God.I am eternally peaceful, loving and blissful. I own nothing, hence I can't lose
anything. God owns everything. I am with God. I establish all relationships with Him. I love God and obey Him.'The above 'thinking' will bring newness in our consciousness. Newness in the consciousness will bring newness in our attitude, vision and action. At this point of time, our world needs newness in thinking. Meditation enables all to bring newness in their thinking and fully equips them to face change which will ultimately result in the common good of
the world community.
