- Rohit Sharma registered his seventh fifty vs West Indies — his 15th in ODIs. His record vs West Indies is superb in ODIs, totalling 629 (ave.62.90) in 15 matches.
- Dinesh Karthik (51 not out off 54 balls) posted his highest score in the ICC Champions Trophy, eclipsing the 34 against the West Indies at Johannesburg on September 30, 2009.
- Karthik's sixth fifty in ODIs is his third against the West Indies. All his fifty-plus innings have ensured India's wins.
- Ravindra Jadeja (5/36) recorded his first five-wicket haul in ODIs and became the first Indian bowler to take five wickets in the ICC Champions Trophy.
