WHY ARE INDIANS EASY TO IDENTIFY We are like this only so true, so very true ...
1. Everything you eat is savoured in garlic, onion and tomatoes - This Only Enhances tastes rather than eating lifeless dead things such as Chicken and mutton with different type of Breads without any flovor calling it barbecued...
2.. You try and reuse gift wrappers, gift boxes, and of course aluminum foil - Today it is not only called Recycling But also a Group has been formed internationally as Green Council or Environment Friendly for scores of people to earn without practising .
3. You are always standing next to the two largest size suitcases at the Airport - Instead of Carrying Bag Packs and look ugly at all times.
4. You arrive one or two hours late to a party - and think it's normal - It is better to be called Mr. Late than to be Called Late. Mr......as mentioned by one of the greater group
5. You peel the stamps off letters that the Postal Service missed to stamp - It always reaches safer as the postal department will be keen to deliver and take the money with fine from the person who receives it. Hence a department also earns.
6. You recycle Wedding Gifts, Birthday Gifts and Anniversary Gifts - Same as mentioned earlier, Recycling for the betterment of ManKind and care for the upcoming Generation.
7. You name your children in rhythms (example, Sita & Gita, Ram & Shyam, Kamini & Shamini..) - So what it always had a meaning instead of naming without any meaning and also when you called these names it was sweeter and benefitting as you were blessed by those Gods or by those angels
8. All your children have pet names, which sound nowhere, close to their real names- They alteast had names rather than Calling X or Ys or calling a great name Christopher as Chris or Chri and John as Jo etc when the names were still small
9. You take Indian snacks anywhere it says 'No Food Allowed.'- It only said Outside Food not allowed
10. You talk for an hour at the front door when leaving someone's house - This always better than wasting a trip back to their house wasting fuel and time of everybody.
11. You load up the family car with as many people as possible - Time and Space Saving issues.
12. HIGH PRIORITY *** You use plastic to cover anything new in your house whether it's the remote control, VCR, carpet or new couch - Better as the dirt accumulates you will throw it or buy a new one or even if you keep your hand withh all dirts....still its is perfectly working for number days. No need to waste money of Hand Washes
13. Your parents tell you not to care what your friends think, but they won't let you do certain things because of what the other 'Uncles and Aunties' will think - For Better tomorrow, you be and make them be cautioned
14. You buy and display crockery, which is never used, as it is for special occasions, which never happen - We always dream and expect a Good Things to Happen some day and that day will always come.
15. You have a vinyl tablecloth on your kitchen table- For Better cleaning Germ Free and Hygenics
16. You use grocery bags to hold garbage - Reusable issues.
17. You keep leftover food in your fridge in as many numbers of bowls as possible - Reheating is better and faster even if in a microwave and hence no special attention is required on power saving and no Earth Hours.
18. Your kitchen shelf is full of jars, varieties of bowls and plastic utensils (got free with purchase of other stuff) - Green Issues once again Reusability
19. You carry a stash of your own food whenever you travel (and travel means any car ride longer than 15 minutes) - Instead spoiling your environment thoing it anywhere while travelling and thereby disturbing your surroundings .
20. You own a rice cooker or a pressure cooker - Ha ha A Pressure Cooker that also cooks rice....
21. You fight over who pays the dinner bill - We are responsible on others rather than making others pay bill and make them fear to attend your next invitation
22. You live with your parents and you are 40 years old. (And they prefer it that way) - A Senior's Guidance is always better as it saves your valuable time rather to learn things by trial and error .
23. You don't use measuring cups when cooking - After one week of continuous cooking it requires just practise rather than believing on cups and measuring scales; you are expected to learn and do better .
24. You never learnt how to stand in a queue - In Bombay, Tirupathi or many similar places we still stand in queue. Its matter of environment. Some leads and some follow. If the leader is Bad everything Crashes .
25. You can only travel if there are 5 persons at least to see you off or receive you whether you are traveling by bus, train or plane - A Matter of Caring and Togetherness instead of leaving all alone and feel empty
26. If she is NOT your daughter, you always take interest in knowing whose daughter has run with whose son and feel proud to spread it at the velocity of more than the speed of light - This is also matter of caring. By this you reassure your children is growing better and other children around should not do the same mistake tomorrow. Matter of praising them in such a way, that they don't afford to do mistake
27. You only make long distance calls after 11p.m - Saving for a Better Tomorrow.
28. If you don't live at home, when your parents call, they ask if you've eaten, even if it's midnight - Its matter of caring which you can feel or experience when you are a parents.
29. You call an older person you never met before Uncle or Aunty - Showing Respect. As you receive Blessings for a Better Future
30. When your parents meet strangers and talk for a few minutes, you discover you're talking to a distant cousin - Matter of Caring and getting New friends.
31. Your parents don't realize phone connections to foreign countries have improved in the last two decades, and still scream at the top of their lungs when making foreign calls - With today's cost effective technology such as VoIP and voice not reaching clearly [ It has not improved better with improving technology], you still have to shout at the top of voice
32. You have bed sheets on your sofas so as to keep them from getting dirty - For longer usage and above all cleanliness. As Cleanliness leads to Godliness You just have to wash the bed sheet only and also keep changing and feel fresh always.
33. Its embarrassing if you're wedding has less than 600 people- Blessings / Good Wishes of More makes your life Best .
34. All your Tupperware is stained with food color- That only explains the Bad Quality of a product or probably identifies a fake product. Any good quality product stays for better living.
35. You have drinking glasses made of steel - Once Again Cleanliness.
36. You have mastered the art of bargaining in shopping - We do not need an MBA degree to Master something. Its inborn which is only never recognized by the Gen Next
Because they are always only busy sending useless chain mails and saying they are always busy , as above without analyzing and still calling them great analyst......
I STILL LOVE TO BE AN INDIAN (VIPAN CHAWLA) - You have to be Blessed to be an Indian and to have Indian elders to explain your short thinkings.
