We all get exhausted or frustrated when our beloved PC takes all the time in the world to load Windows. Most of us gets more irritated when we see tons of software popping up at the Desktop immediately after starting Windows. There are two things which makes your PC to perform slow at the Boot time, first is Windows Services and other one are these Startup Programs (By the way, these things can cause PC hanging or Crashing issues as well).
After the installation of software (for e.g. Windows Optimization Software, Messengers, Security Software etc.), some of them add themselves at the Windows Startup, because it's required or just to speed up the whole software loading process. Though it sounds good, but when too many software add themselves at the Startup time, this is where when the problem begins.
For example, many of us uses Skype / Google / MSN / Yahoo messenger, but do you really need it immediately whenever you start your computer. If yes, then it's your choice, but don't complain that your computer is taking time while you are turning it on. How much time it's going to take to open it from the Start Menu?
Another example is of an Antivirus program, It's important for any security programs to start at the boot time to give you higher level of protection and it would be a foolish attempt to disable it for any reason. This thing can cause your PC a slow start (a bit), but since it's necessary to have it at the Startup, so we don't have any other option for that.
