Assalamu alaikkum,
Dear Brothers,
Before coming to a concusion to choose the Right hospital for the Liver transplantation as i am putting both the lifes on risk mother and child . I have taken help of totalmdehelp.com which is a Medical Tourism Company having a good team of doctors who have tie up with diiferent hospitals across the country and helped me to get quotations and information about different hospitals and doctors and review from the surgeries done from the patients from all over india and their quality of service. There are some other hospitals also who charge less but the success rate is very less. As per their advice as they have noticed that so many people have died during the surgery itself donor and the recepient.
Finally they have adviced me to go for Either Global Hospitals or Medanta which is in delhi without taking and Risk and chance. There are only two doctors in the Country who are very proficient and highly experienced in performing paedriatric Liver transplantation surgeries with advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Mohammed Rela who is accociated with Global Hospitals and Resides in Chennai
Dr. A.S Soin who is associated with Medanta and Sir Gangaram Hospitals (New Delhi)
Global hospital is located in Hyderabad and its my home town moreover Dr. Mohammed Rela who is the one going to perform surgery. so i preferred to go ahead with Global and they are quoting high compared to Medanta. But it will be convinient for me and relatives and friends can also come to visit the hospital and its nearby my residence and also the baby will be kept in the PICU for a month after the surgery.
Due to lack of funds i am confused to take any decision as of now. if i am unable to get the desired funds before the deadline what doctors have given me for the survival life span of the baby .then i will go for Medanta (New Delhi) as there is a difference of about 4 lakhs for the surgery excluding transportation and stay charges for other than the patients.
I am attaching herewith this mail the quotations which i got from these two hospitals. and CM, PM Relief Fund Applications which are on hold and not getting processed.
I started getting few contributions since last one week eversince you brothers have started this campaign aggressively, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart once again to each and every individual who are trying to help save the life of my little baby boy. May Allah Subhanawtaala Bless every one with Gooh Health Wealth and Prosperity. I will keep you updating and send u a list of contributions which i receive.

Assalamu Alaikum,
Abdul Rahman Karim Bhai,
I really thank you from the bottom of my heart to have conveyed my son's condition to DLF JAMAT and so many well wishers and remembered my son in Duas and taken an initiative promptly to spread the information of my son across so many people. May allah subahnava taala bless each and every individual with Health , Wealth and prosperity who are involved in this campaign.
For the last seven months i was jobless eversince my son got ill, I was running around all big hospitals to take opinions of different doctors. Finally Rainbow Hospital which is the sister concern of Global Hospitals has concluded that there is no other option except surgery which needs to be done at the earliest and will cost around 25 lakhs approximately and 5 Lakhs post surgery for high dosages of immune suppressants. If ignored it may lead to some other complications like kidney failure and nervous system damage.and given a survival deadline of one and half year.Still Allah is the one who decides the lifespan and i have full faith and belief in allah.
I belong to a middle class family and i am the only son serving my old aged parents who are also suffering from different ailments. My wife is a housewife and I have two kids Elder one is daughter who is of 5 years old and younger one son and i am the only bread and butter to my entire family. After meeting all the medical expenses of my son around two Lakhs uptill now Financially i am broke and started having problems to afford the treatment.
I have approached Chief Minister of AP go get CM Relief Fund accompanied by doctors along with my son to show the severity. Inspite of looking at my sons condition also he kept the file aside. And its almost three months uptill now there is no response. Finally PA to the CM has told me that due to internal political issues CM in not at all looking into any medical files. I have even seeked help of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also for PM Relief Fund. so is the case with him also. I was expecting a lot from them but unfortunately nothing worked out till now and the time is just passing by. So without wasting time finally i have started requesting within my friend circle and relatives to donate as much as they can. Uptill now i could accumulate 2 lakhs from the contributions and 2 lakhs from my side after disposing few assets. Altogether i have four Lakhs and the cost of the surgery is of 25 Lakhs. and post surgery 5 Lakhs. Though its a huge difference but i am not loosing any hope. Everyday i am crying and praying to Almighty Allah to help me and i am still having faith in Almighty Allah and also trying my level best from my end also to approach diiferent sources.
As i was jobless and psychologically disturbed i couldnt approach any corporates. Now with the help of Khaleel Ahmed Khans help and Gods grace i have joined Mphasis. Inshallah if i get more and more well wisher brothers like you and the Entire DLF JAMAT who considered the matter seriously hopefully my sons life will be saved. I have four Lakhs only as of now and would be requiring 26 Lakhs more.
I have joined Mphasis just 15 days back and i have not yet added my son name into medimanage. I really dont know whether it will get covered under insurance or not as it is pre existing Genetic Metabolic Disorder. I will speak to them tomorrow and check If it is covered then to what extent they can help. and update you.
I once again thank u for the moral and financial support which you are giving me and remembering my son in dua's
Thanks and Regards

Assalamu Alaikum Abdul Rahman Bhai,
How r u..? My Son's condition is day by day becoming quite severe. Please do remember my son in your Prayers. As u know the Liver transplantation surgery is quite expensive than any other surgery costing around 25 to 40 Lakhs. Unfortunately my blood group is not matching so my wife has become the donor but awaiting for the funds to get accumulated as i belong to a lower middle class family i cannot affford to go for the surgery . i have aggressively started doing campainings to collect money from different sources and i am requesting everyone to contribute as much as they can as the time is running out. Since doctors have given a deadline of one and half year of survival of the baby out of which 1 year 3 months are already over and i am really worried and praying everyday almighty Allah to save the life of my child.
I have been running after Various Political leaders since five months to get financial assistance from CM and even Prime ministers relief fund. but unfortunately nothing worked out untill now and the time is just passing by and the baby's condition is becoming more worse. Finally i have lost faith in the Govt and Various NGO's as well. So eventually i decided to tale help from corporates and well wishers like u who has courtesy atleast to ask and show interest on humanitarian grounds to help.
Its my humble request to spread this information to contribute for my sons surgery to as many friends, nears and dears as you can to save the life of my little baby boy. May allah bless you with Health Wealth and prosperity.
Please try to pass this information across to all your friends who are working for different companies also. We never know From where allah o tala will create a source to take my son out of this severe and critical situation. Even a penny of contribution counts a lot for me at this situation.

Dear Friends,
I would like to bring to your notice that one of our colleague Mr.Pasha who recently joined mphasis (Mohammed.Pasha05@mphasis.com) is going through a difficult situation with his baby who is around 15/16 months old is suffering from a liver disorder known as Tyrosinemia type I. The baby has been taken to several hospitals for expert advice on treating Tyrosinemia type I disorder of the liver. All of the doctors (from various hospitals) have concluded that liver transplant is the treatment of first choice to save the baby.
The cost of liver transplant if a external Donor is considered, amounts to 75 Lakhs to 1 Crore. hence in this case due to the cost affordability issue, the mother has become the liver donor ((The the baby's blood type matches with the mother's blood type, )). This has brought down the costs of liver transplant to 25lakhs ~ 30 lakhs (25 Lakhs for Surgery and 5 Lakhs Post Surgery)
I have discussed various options too in the past one month and the below mail chain is the evidence of different opinions sought.
He mailed all the reports of diagnosis and the attachment was huge. Hence, I picked up only a few reports for your kind reference.
As the amount is too high it's not possible to get this treatment for his baby on his own. He has a huge task ahead and the time is running out. He has already approached many charity trusts and also sent the request to CM & PM relief funds. As you people are aware of the processes which takes place at Govt offices they have not even processed his file and not taken any action till now.
I have seen the baby and Since one week baby condition has become even worse his weight has dropped down like anything. He is running on high temperature and vomiting frequently because of which he got dehydrated and became very lean. Immediately the kid was rushed to the nearest pediatric clinic by name Balamitra the doctor has given few medicines to control temperature. Now the baby's temperature is in control but vomiting's hasn't yet got
Finally he has lost faith in Govt and even in NGO's because the time is just passing by and nobody is considering the severity and criticality of the case and coming forward to help. Now he himself started to do a campaign to go to all corporates with the help of friends.
Dear friends, I sincerely request all of you to contribute something from your end. All of your financial contributions would help save this baby. Charity is a great virtue. your contributions can be made via various modes it can be either online or cheque or cash.

Before the things get out of control the surgery needs to be done.
A small info on Tyrosinemia type I - a disorder of the liver.
Tyrosinemia type I, a disorder of tyrosine metabolism, classically presents as severe liver disease in young infants. Tyrosinemia is a genetic disorder characterized by elevated blood levels of the amino acid tyrosine, a building block of most proteins. Tyrosinemia is caused by the shortage (deficiency) of one of the enzymes required for the multistep process that breaks down tyrosine. If untreated, tyrosine and its byproducts build up in tissues and organs, which leads to serious medical problems. Type I tyrosinemia can lead to liver and kidney failure, problems affecting the nervous system, and an increased risk of liver cancer.

ASKM Sajjad Bhai,
i have recovered almost 90 percent from the recent accident injuries.
I have taken so many opinions from top doctors in the world in the field of hepatology. Nitisinone is not the complete solution to the disease as the liver is already damaged more than 60% and it will only stop the damage to that extent only. It doesn't cure the damage which has already happened. Nitisinone drug is not available in India it has to be imported only from Sweden there are no local distributors and involved complicated process to import it and It is quite expensive also it is costing around 8 Lakhs for six months course for 2mg dose two times a day. As the baby grows we have to increase the dose it will become 4 mg which is costing 16 lakhs for six months course and it has to be taken throughout the life which has so many side effects as well. It may not be compatible also. If our immune system is not accepting the drug then investing so much will all go in vain. As per the companies policies the Orfadin company which will ship (MOQ) Minimum Order Quantity for six months to only drug import license holders in India. As an individual i cannot or buy it i have to go through all these complicated procedures as well.
I have taken opinion of so many experts from Leading Doctors and hospitals in india. Dr. Mohammed Rela from south Chennai Global Hospitals who is a Guiness Book of World Records holder who has transplanted to a six day old baby and has invented so many advanced techniques of Liver Transplantation's. And Dr. A.S Soin of hospital Medanta North india Delhi who also performed so many surgeries till now. I have sent reports to various other hospitals in addition to these two leading hospitals. They have eventually concluded to go ahead with the surgery.
Practically speaking it is totally out of our reach for an Indian middle class families to
spend throughout the life which will be aggregated in crores, so finally i have decided to get prepared for the surgery instead of the medicine. Which is a one time investment and complete solution to the problem as there is no risk involved as per the Doctors advice as liver is the only organ in the human body which will be regenerated even if we take 65% from the left Lobe of it in a span of 1 year based on the one's immune system. Donor will become normal within one month and recipient only has to be monitored for atleast an year as u said recipient will not accept foreign objects so the body doesnt accept it but they will keep the baby on immune suppressant drugs but more prone to other viruses if our immune system is down. But Dr. Mohammed Rela has invented a technique to overcome this problem now babies doesnt have to depend on immune suppressants anymore based on the complexity.
Presently i am using Unani Medicine to prevent damage to the liver from hepatitis and early cirrohsis
Mir Khan who is good friend of mine who is an MD of Totalmedhelp.com a Medical Tourism Company helping me a lot to get good quotes and opinions from various hospitals and doctors in india. I have circulated the information among all in my friend circle also to help donate as much as possible. If we make efforts collectively in corporates also probably it would sort out my problem as i am facing hell lot of difficulties and hurdles getting aid from Govt.
Request all my friend circle good selves to consider helping me financially for which i shall be highly obliged. Your all contributions may be please sent to my HDFC Bank Account no 05121140002099 favoring MOHD KHAJA PASHA.

Hi Khwaja bhai,
If the doctors are planning for transplant i recommend to seek secondary opinions -- i came across the following info about the drug called nitisinone
Nitisinone (also known as NTBC, an abbreviation of its full chemical name) is a drug originally developed as a herbicide, now used to slow the effects of hereditary tyrosinemia type 1
Before nitisinone was available, liver transplantation was one of the main treatments for tyrosinemia 1. Now, nitisinone can prevent or reverse many of the liver problems and decreases the risk of developing liver cancer. For most children, nitisinone will delay, and hopefully prevent, the need for liver transplant.
Overall, early diagnosis and treatment provide the greatest benefits for the child with tyrosinemia type I.
i was very happy to read this and was hoping that the doctors use nitisinone as a treatment to the kid rather than operating both the kid and the mother.
