A Mother’s Commandments
- Thou shalt not judge or criticize thy daughter’s behavior.
- Thou shalt not contradict thy daughter’s rules In her home.
- Thou shalt not question thy daughter’s lifestyle or personal choices.
- Thou shalt love thy daughter even if she’s nothing like you.
- Thou shalt respect thy daughter as you would want her to respect you.
- Thou shalt not carry tales about thy daughter to anyone.
- Thou shalt always measure out thy honesty and be diplomatic to thy daughter under all circumstances.
- Thou shalt not speak against thy daughter’s mate or his mother.
- Thou shalt not make promises to thy daughter that you cannot fulfill.
- Thou shalt always remember that this human being is not yours but a woman into her own; she needs to be treated of the position.
A Daughter’s Commandments
- Thou shalt not covet thy mother’s possessions.
- Thou shalt not expect thy mother to financially support you.
- Thou shalt not make any demands upon thy mother, only polite requests.
- Thou shalt not neglect thy mother in any way.
- Thou shalt always give thy mother the same respect you want for yourself.
- Thou shalt not deny thy mother’s visitation with thy children.
- Thou shalt always remember thy mother’s special observation and holidays.
- Thou shalt make thyself available at times for support of the mother during important medical crises.
- Thou shalt never assume you know thy mother’s feelings or thoughts.
- Thou shalt not criticize thy mother’s life style, attire, spending or eating habits.
