Li Zhang was born in 1958 in Beijing. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Institute of People's Liberation Army in 1983, where he specialized in oil painting. Mr.Zhang is currently a professor in the Institute and a member of China Artists Association. Li Zhang has won many national awards in China, including the Excellence Award of the artist in several different national exhibitions. His talents are widely recognized in the U.S. as well: Mr. Zhang was recently awarded the Grand Prize Best of Show at the American Society of Portrait Portrait of international artists. Li concentration in the portrait that lets you focus on the emotional character of his subjects, and emotional reasons are markedly wider visible to the viewer because of the dedication to detail so exquisite Li.
