 حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضور اقدس صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب عمامہ باندھتے تو اس کے شملہ کو اپنے دونوں مونڈھوں کے درمیان یعنی پچھلی جانب ڈال لیتے تھے نافع یہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کو ایسے ہی کرتے دیکھا عبیداللہ جو نافع کے شاگرد ہیں وہ کہتے ہیں ، کہ میں نے اپنے زمانہ میں حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کے پوتے قاسم بن محمد کو اور حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کے پوتے سالم بن عبداللہ کو ایسے ہی کرتے دیکھا۔

حضورِ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عمامہ کا ذکر

Hazrat Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhuma reports, "When Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam fastened an amaamah (turban), he used to put the shamlah between his shoulers (i.e. he used to put it on the back)." 
Nafi says, "I had seen Abdullah bin Umar radiyallahu anhuma do it in the same manner." 
Ubaidullah, who is the student of Nafi, says, "In my time the grandson of Abu Bakr radiyallahu anhu, Qasim bin Muhammad and the grandson of Umar radiyallah anhu, Saalim bin Abdullah did the same."
