Most common way to get hacked by someone is to check your personal account on a computer with people around you. I remember how I got familiar with the word HACKING. One of my friend was checking his Emails in the University Lab, without knowing that some of his naughty friends are spying on him (including me). Once he left the lab, because my friends saw him typing his weak password, they logged into his account and changed his profile details including password. Their are two reasons why I told you such a lame history, first thing is to warn you about these kind of hacks, because it's quite a common way to loose your account (believe me, don't trust ANYONE - Just NO ONE, Not even your brothers and sisters). Second reason is to make you aware of a computer monitoring activity (I don't know how to refer it) name Keystroke Logging or Keyloggers or Keylogging, which can help any stranger (or hacker) to steal your password and other personal details from your computer by recording the keys you use to type it on a Keyboard.
