This picture was taken on the banks of Sumatra Island. The height of water waves is estimated of about 32 meters = 105 ft.
It was found saved in a digital camera, found 1½ years after the disaster.
The authority cannot know for sure, but very likely the brave photographer is not alive any more, and was swept with the rest leaving behind this last image of life. May God rest his/her soul in rest.
