     bolo tum ko gair likheN ya apna meeth likheN

     neele ambar ki angnai meiN taaroN ke phool

     mere pyaase hotoN par hai angaaroN ke phool

     in phooloN ko aakhir apni haar ya jeet likheN

     koi puraana sapna de do aur kuch meethe bol

     lekar hum nikle haiN apni aakhon ke kash khol

     hum banjaare preet ke maare kya sangeet likheN

     shaam khaDi hai ek chameli ke pyaale meiN shabnam

     jamuna ji ke oongli pakDe khel raha hai madhuban

     aise meiN ganga jal se radha ki preet likehN
