A bit over a year ago I had sent you all a mail with details of the health problem of Mohamed Mansoor, who went through a liver transplant, the liver being donated by his wife Shazia Aafreen. A great deal of money was required for the operation and post operative treatment which was beyond the capacities of Mohamed Mansoor. The mail then was sent me by his brother, Hassan.

 

By Allah's Grace a number of you, recipients of my daily mails, helped out, some very substantially, and that went a great way towards alleviating the financial burden that was being undergone by Mohamed Mansoor.

 

Today Mohamed Mansoor is okay, but his wife Shazia Aafreen is not, as the details provided in the mail (below) state. She needs help, and I would like to request you to see if you could help out here. Medical treatment today is very expensive, and often beyond the reach of the common man. It is very easy for us to criticize the situation existing today, but until there are hospitals that are prepared to do the necessary operations and take care of the post operation treatment required on a minimum cost basis, the people adversely affected need to reach out to people who can contribute.

 

This is only a request, and I would like to ask you to think deeply on this matter. Should you find yourselves willing to contribute, please reach out to Mohamed Mansoor directly. Any amount that you could offer, be it little or substantial, would be welcomed. Assalaamu alaikum Adam sir, 

My Name is Mohamed Mansoor, last year during the holy month of Ramzan I under went Liver transplant surgery at Global hospital,

my wife Shaziya Aafreen had donated a part of her liver to save my life. With ALMIGHTY ALLAH's grace & blessings we went through a successful surgery & survived. 

All your prayers, support & extended financial help - has helped us to go through the toughest & difficult phase of my life and we are grateful to you & we keep you in our prayers for the rest of our lives.

 

Now my wife, Shaziya is in critical condition - under ICU of Global hospital, for her lungs ailment.

 Shaziya Aafreen is undergoing a critical lungs treatment at Global Hospital's Isolation ICU care of Pulmonology dept (Lungs ICU).

In the initial stage of the diagnosis (a week ago), we found her lungs were filled with sputum & that cause Pneumonia. Then it was confirmed that her lungs were affected with puss & viral infection.

 Now, since Monday. .  her lungs have almost stopped working ( 70 percent of lung cell have become dead due to viral attack. . Doctors are trying to re-life the lungs), due to serious viral attack on her lungs & Doctors confirm that the Viral attacked on her lungs were Swine flu kind of deadly virus & hence she became critical, rapidly.

 Shaziya has been kept on Ventilators & on high end ventilating equipments that would oxidize her blood (similar to Lung dialosis machine). This procedure is extremely costly & costs upto 1 lac per day including medicines, ICU charges & Doctor fees etc. .

To setup this high end ventilating machine itself did cost close 1.5 lacs.

She is on high anti-biotic medicines & that costs up to 60,000 rs per day. 

The total bill that has got generated until this morning (27th Oct) is rs 14,00,000

(14 lacs) & out of that we have settled upto 6,00,000 (6 lacs).

 

Doctors say that she has to be provided this ventilating support for few more days. .  we expect some few more lacs to be added on the total bill. 

I humbly request you to please help to save my wife's life. .  so that I could save my family. I request you to please spread this message urgently. .
