A whole host of wacky personalities have been acknowledged for their achievements in the new 2013
edition of the Guinness World Records. Here's the pick of the crop...
1. Asako Kanda's collection of 4,519 different Hello Kitty items is featured in the new Guinness World Records 2013

2. The tallest Mohican measures 113.5 cm (44.68 in) and belongs to Kazuhiro Watanabe from Tokyo, Japan
3. Sharran Alexander from London, England, is today recognised as the heaviest sportswoman weighing in at 32 stone.
The only female sumo wrestler on the UK team is recognised in the new Guinness World Records 2013 book.
4. 86 year-old Johanna Quaas from Germany is named the Oldest Gymnast. Remarkably the retired PE teacher
from Leipzig; Germany only began to train at gymnastics in her 50s taking part in her first competition at the age of 56.
5. The largest drum set is comprised of 340 pieces, is owned by Dr. Mark Temperato (USA) and was counted in Lakeville, New York, USA.

9. Oklahoma Sam, recognised as the Tallest Donkey - he's 61 inches (155.45 cm) from hoof to withers
