An adorable polar bear, Diamond Jubilee celebrations and

1. Anori, an adorable polar bear cub, is snapped swimming in her enclosure at a zoo in Wuppertal, Germany.

2. A man wearing hydro shoes flies over the water at a beach on the Baltic Sea in Sopot, Poland,
on the eve of the Euro 2012 Championships.
3. A van driver got the shock of his life when the road suddenly caved in beneath him.
The vehicle was seen suddenly disappearing down a newly-formed giant sinkhole on a road
in the city of Guilin, southern China.
Experts said the cave-in was due to the local geology of the area.
4. The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert ended with a spectacular fireworks display over Buckingham Palace.
5. The space shuttle Enterprise travels up the Hudson River by barge to the Intrepid Sea,
Air and Space Museum - its new Manhattan home.
6. A police officer closes in to apprehend escaped jail inmate Thomas Julian Lopez in downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

7. A huge floating dock cast adrift by Japan's killer tsunami has washed up on an Oregon beach
8. The Duchess of Cornwall befriends an alpaca during a visit to the Cornish Young Farmer's Tent at the
Royal Cornwall Show, in Wadebridge. The Duchess met members of the public and toured stands during her visit.
9. The world's fastest man, Usain Bolt, of Jamaica, collides with a flower girl after crossing the finish line
to win the men's 100m at the IAAF Diamond League athletics meeting at Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway.
10. A bird comes in to land on top of one of the domes of the landmark Taj Mahal as Venus passes in front of the sun.
Stargazers from across the globe looked on in awe as Venus passed in front of the sun - a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle
that won't be observed again for another 105 years.
11. Passengers are helped after being stranded Central Line train between Stratford and Bow.
The line was flooded by two million litres of water when a 100-year-old water main burst during exploratory work.
Water flooded down a ventilation shaft and on to the tracks.
