Hundreds gather at historic site to celebrate summer solstice despite soggy conditions.
Druids and revellers gathered at Stonehenge this morning to celebrate
the summer solstice - the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.
1. Hundreds flocked to Stonehenge to see the sun rise on the longest day of the year.
The event marks the annual pagan celebration of the sun.
2. The occasion saw weird and wonderful costumes as hundreds of druids make the trip.
