You gave an incomplete reference of Bukari. There is no such Hadith in Bukari, exact vol no & Hadith no is required.

This Hadith is from VIRTUES OF ZIKR Fazail-eeamaal HADITH No – 1 narrator   Maulana Muhammed Zakariya Kandhhalvi. 6 No. of Tabliq Jamaat. This narrator was mentally secluded which is written in preface of  the book

Scholars say there are many wrangle distinctions so Saudi abandoned this book.

If anyone caught with an act of encouraging reading or promoting, this book in Saudi Arabia will found himself behind bars.

I Treat My Slaves According To His Expectations From Me.

Wrong Quote: I Am With Him When He Remembers Me;

 

 (2:186) (O Muhammad Pbuh) when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge).

Allah is very near to every one irrespective his slave remembers him or not.

 Allah remembers every tiny creature. Because he is hearer knower and The-Manifest.

 

And if He Remembers Me in His Heart,

Wrong Quote: I Remember Him in My Heart;

Nobody is aware how Allah looks like, so it is a hazardous statement if anyone says Allah has body parts like ex: heart brain arms leg etc.

And if He Remembers Me in A Gathering,

I Remember Him in A Better And Nobler Gathering

(of Angels).

If He Comes Closer To Me By One Span,

I Go Closer To Him An Arm's Length;

if He Comes Towards Me An Arm's Length,

I Go Towards Him Two-Arm's Length;

And if He Comes To Me Walking,

I Run To Him. (Bukhari)

 

2:186 Allah say: Aye nabi mere bandey mere mutaliq puchey tho une bata do, mey un ke qareeb hoo. Ouch

When Allah is very nearer to the salves, It looks ridicules to listen Allah has to run or walk for a slave.

Our Beloved prophet (pbuh) cannot say such kind of word pertaining to Allah running towards a slave.

 

Allah (SWT) is using solid harsh warning words to the prophet. (69: 44 to 48): If he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning (Allah) We surely should have seized him by his right hand. Then certainly should have cut off his life artery. And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 69: 44 to 48

 

Allah Witness here: (53: 2) Your companion (Muhammad SAW) neither has gone astray nor has erred.

Nor does he speak of (his own) desire 53:3

Henceforth narrator Bukari makes a  obfuscate mistake with a oxymoron contradicting to Ayah 2:186.

And what more we need to deny it as a fallacious hadith.

2:195  Allah loves those who do good Truly, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers). 
2:222 Allah loves those who turn to him in repentance, and He loves those who keep themselves clean "(Surat Al-Baqara,)"
3:76  Allah loves whoever fulfills his pledge and fears Allah much; verily, then Allah loves those who are Al-Muttaqin those are mindful of Him
3:146 Allah loves those who are steadfast "(Surat Aal-Imran), 
3:159 Allah loves those who put their trust in Him "(Surat Aal-Imran), 
5:42  Allah loves those who do justice "(Surat Al-Maida, 5:42)

25:64 Allah Loves the servants of The Most Gracious (Allah) are those... who spend the night in adoration of their Lord, prostrating and standing (in Qiyaam)."

True! Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu Reports That Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam in A Hadith Qudsi Narrated That Allah Ta'ala Says:   I Treat My Slaves According To His Expectations From Me.
