The local bar was so sure its bartender was the strongest man around that they offered a standing $1000 bet.
The bartender would squeeze a lemon until all the juice ran into a glass, and hand the lemon to a patron. Anyone who could squeeze one more drop of juice out would win the money. Many people had tried over time, including the professional wrestlers and bodybuilders, but nobody could do it.One day a scrawny little man came in, wearing a tie and a pair of pants hiked up past his belly button.

He said in a squeaky annoying voice, "I'd like to try the bet."
Even the hillbilly chicks burst into laughter.

After the laughter had died down, the bartender said, "Ok," grabbed a lemon, and squeezed away. He then handed the wrinkled remains of the rind to the little man.

But the crowd's laughter turned to total silence as the man clenched his fist around the lemon and six drops fell into the glass.
As the crowd cheered, the bartender paid the $1000, and asked the little man, "What did you do for a living? Are you a lumberjack, weight lifter, or what?"
The man replied, "I work for the Income Tax."

Make reality your friend

Make reality your friend

Though limiting factors can be a burden, they can also give you a solid, predictable framework in which to operate. What might at first seem to be an obstacle could end up providing valuable support.
For example, the force of gravity makes it difficult to move a large, massive rock. Yet that same force will also ensure that the rock stays in place once you get it where you want it.
Playing by the rules and adhering to a strictly defined discipline makes achievement more difficult. Yet it also plays an essential role in making achievement possible.
No situation is inherently limiting. Because you have the ability to adjust and adapt and make positive use of whatever factors may be present.
A massive brick wall can stop you cold, or it can provide you with a solid foundation upon which to build. It all depends on what you choose to do with what you encounter.
Rather than judging something to be a limiting factor, do the work to make it an enabling factor. Make reality your friend by making positive use of it.

`FIVE RULES TO REMEMBER IN LIFE:`

1. Money cannot buy happiness, but it's more comfortable to cry in a Corvette than on a bicycle.
2. Forgive your enemy, but remember the dummy's name.
3. If you help people when they're in trouble, they will remember you when they're in trouble again.
4. Many people are alive only because it's illegal to shoot them.
5. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but then neither does milk.

 `New Alphabet BOOK`

New Alphabet A is for apple, and B is for boat, That used to be right, but now it won't float! Age before beauty is what we once said, But let's be a bit more realistic instead.

Now The

Alphabet:

A's for arthritis; B's the bad back, C's the chest pains, perhaps car-d-iac?

D is for dental decay and decline, E is for eyesight, can't read that top line! F is for fissures and fluid retention, G is for gas which I'd rather not mention.

H high blood pressure--I'd rather it low; I for incisions with scars you can show. J is for joints, out of socket, won't mend, K is for knees that crack when they bend. L 's for libido, what happened to sex? M is for memory, I forget what comes next. N is neuralgia, in nerves way down low; O is for osteo, bones that don't grow!

P for prescriptions, I have quite a few, just give me a pill and I'll be good as new! Q is for queasy, is it fatal or flu? R is for reflux, one meal turns to two.

S is for sleepless nights, counting my fears, T is for Tinnitus; bells in my ears! U is for urinary; troubles with flow; V for vertigo, that's 'dizzy,' you know.

W for worry, now what's going 'round? X is for X ray, and what might be found. Y for another year I'm left here behind, Z is for zest I still have-- in my mind!

I've survived all the symptoms, my body's deployed,  and I'm keeping twenty-six doctors fully employed!

'SQUIRREL'

is an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate
 your tree climbing, nut gathering
neighborhood squirrels. It's held in mid-winter
when food sources are scarce for squirrels
and other wildlife. Sure, squirrels spent all
fall gathering and "squirreling " away food.
But, their supplies may not be enough. And,
the variety of food is limited. So, give them
an extra special treat today to supplement
 their winter diets.

Not everyone likes squirrels. While they are
fun to watch skirting around the yard andtrees, they are aggressive at bird feeders.Squirrels tip almost any bird feeder andspill the seeds in search of the particularseeds they want. In the fall, they attackpumpkins on front porches in search ofthe seeds inside. For gardeners theydig up and steal flower bulbs, and mayeat some of the veggies in your garden.

When you think about it, mid winter is the
best time to appreciate squirrels. In the
winter they provide a little entertainment.During other times of the year, you may look at them as a pest in the flower and vegetable gardens.

Origin of Squirrel Appreciation Day:

Christy Hargrove from Asheville,North Carolina started SquirrelAppreciation Day on January 21, 2001.Christy is a wildlife rehabilitator inNorth Carolina, and is is affiliatedwith the Western North Carolina Nature Center.
According to Christy,
"Celebration of the event itself is up to the
individual or group -- anything from putting
out extra food for the squirrels to learning
something new about the species."`
