ye dariyaa raat bhar chaRhtaa rahaa hai

sunaa hai raat bhar barsa hai baadal,
magar vo shah'r jo pyaasaa rahaa hai?

vo ko'ii dost thaa achche dinoN kaa,
jo pichhlii raat se yaad aa rahaa hai

kise DhuuNDoge in galiyoN meN "Nasir"?
chalo ab ghar chaleN, din jaa raha hai
